About
By adminThe Honor Academy is a place of growth and cultivation of character in one year or more of a young person’s life. Many young people’s lives have been changed as they gave a year to God and were stretched and poured into. However this change did not only remain in that single year, it was a life transformation.
We know that during the time here, interns built lifelong friendships and dreams for fulfilling their callings. Now, we want you all to have a place to stay connected and share your stories from the Honor Academy days and how the Lord impacted you then and is still working through your life now. Go ahead, share your story.
My three children are at the Honor Academy now. My sons are in their third year and my daughter is in her first. As far as the cost, that is for room and board which is cheaper than college. As far as ESOL, it is a grueling experience that one of my sons and my daughter quit early. My son completed it the second year and was awarded a “Golden” helmet for his leadership during ESOL. That some don’t like or do well in this program is understandable as this society asks virtually nothing of young people today, so being in an environment that has high standards and accountability will turn them off. My kids were “good” before they went, but the maturity they have developed, the Biblical knowledge, and compassion for world has proven to me that the Honor Academy is what it presents itself to be and gives glory to God.
